One of Jamie Hewlett's less popular but still awesome comics 'Get The Freebies' is on TV!!!! In Britain :( It follows the story of Kung Fu cop Terry Phoo and teen misfit Whitey Action who find themselves fighting a gang of Queen-killing mutants called The Freebies led by Jimmy who has a basketball for a head... The pilot aired a few months back and a complete season will air soon on BBC3 ...Hopefully its downloadable as there is little chance that any Aussie channels would air it.
It's already got better reviews than the last Hewlett film adaption Tank Girl.
